In March 2024 Digital Edge, in partnership with local subsidiaries Indonet and EDGE DC, hosted a Grand Launch event in Jakarta to celebrate the opening of our new EDGE2 data center.
The event was attended by approximately 140 attendees from across Asia, including our customers, vendors, partners, investors, and colleagues from our Indonet and EDGE DC teams. The event was both a celebration of the opening of our second facility in Jakarta and a showcase of the increasingly important role of Indonesia in Asia’s thriving digital infrastructure landscape.
Following the success of our EDGE1 facility, which is now at full capacity, EDGE2 is a 23MW AI ready data center that leverages Digital Edge’s next generation architecture to redefine standards in data center connectivity and sustainability. We hope EDGE2 will bring much need critical data infrastructure capacity to support the growth of Indonesia’s digital economy. Find out more about the facility here.
